Using this website
- You may read, print and share this site for your own business purposes.
- The words, design, code, photographs and videos on it belong to us or to our clients, and are protected by copyright. Please do not copy them for your own commercial use.
- Client names and logos appear with permission and remain their owners' property.
- Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with the site or its admin area.
What the site is, and is not
Everything here is a description of services and an invitation to get in touch. It is not a contract, not a binding quote and not professional advice. Prices shown are accurate starting points at the date on this page; the price for your work is the one we put in writing to you.
We do not claim or imply guaranteed results. Content and marketing outcomes depend on your market, your business and factors outside anyone's control, and any agency that promises you a number is guessing.
Quotes and scope
Everything is quoted in writing before it starts, and that written quote is what applies. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly, and we will tell you before doing it, not after.
Retainers
Social retainers run monthly. Either side can end them with the notice set out in your agreement. We will not lock you into a long tie-in to keep you.
Payment
Invoices are due as stated on them. Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 we may charge statutory interest and a fixed recovery cost on overdue business invoices, though we would always rather just talk to you about it.
Who owns the work
- Content we create for you is yours once it is paid for — photographs, video, graphics, copy.
- Websites and systems are yours on completion of payment.
- We keep the right to show finished work in our own portfolio and on our socials unless you ask us in writing not to. If you ask, we will not.
- Third-party components — fonts, stock, libraries, hosting — stay under their own licences, which we will tell you about where they matter.
Maintenance
Website upkeep covers hosting, updates, security, backups and reasonable small changes. Larger changes are scoped and quoted as their own piece of work.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and the approvals we need, when we need them.
- Make sure you have the right to use anything you supply — logos, images, music, footage of people.
- Where we post on your behalf, you remain responsible for what your business says.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Otherwise, and because this is a business-to-business relationship: we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any piece of work is limited to the fees you paid us for that work.
We are not responsible for what third-party platforms do — if Instagram changes its algorithm, suspends an account or loses data, that is outside our control.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of the work, we will put a written data processing agreement in place as the UK GDPR requires.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your work is the one in effect when we agreed it, not a later one.
In effect since September 2026. If we change anything material we will update this page and move that date. Questions, or a request about your data: waj@gener4tion.digital.
